WHAT WE BUY
Medals · Coins · Militaria · Jewellery · Ephemera
The Medal Centre has been buying and valuing militaria and coins for over 30 years. We purchase items from private individuals, estates, and collections of any size. No item is too small — and we always pay fair, market-leading prices.
WW1 Medals & Groups
We actively seek WW1 campaign medals including the British War Medal, Victory Medal, and 1914/15 Star. Named medals with original recipient details are of particular interest. Groups — collections attributed to one serviceman — command the highest prices.
WW2 Medals & Gallantry Awards
WW2 medals from all theatres of war are sought after. Gallantry awards including the Military Cross, George Medal, and Distinguished Flying Medal are always in demand, particularly with full paperwork or original ribbon bars.
Gold & Silver Coins
We pay highly competitive gold and silver prices for coins of all periods. Modern bullion coins, Victorian sovereigns, and ancient hammered silver are all of interest. Condition matters but holed or worn coins are still bought.
Jewellery & Pocket Watches
Gold and silver jewellery of any age, from Georgian mourning rings to Victorian brooches and Edwardian pieces. Pocket watches — particularly named English-lever movements — are always sought.
Militaria, Badges & Uniforms
Cap badges, shoulder titles, cloth insignia, helmets, swords, and uniforms from British and Commonwealth forces spanning the Napoleonic era to the Cold War.
Documents, Ephemera & Photographs
Discharge papers, service records, original photographs, trench art, maps, and propaganda posters. Collections relating to specific regiments or local soldiers are especially valued.
